Generative AI

Beleid : Journal of Administrative Law and Public Policy  acknowledges the presence of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) as part of technological developments that influence the process of scientific writing and publication. The use of GenAI in the manuscript preparation process can support technical writing efficiency and improve readability and scientific structure, as long as it is used ethically and responsibly.

Authors who utilise GenAI technology in the manuscript preparation process—whether in the form of drafting initial versions, language revision, data analysis, or the creation of supporting content—are encouraged to disclose such use openly in the footnotes, acknowledgements, or contribution statements. This transparency is essential to maintain scientific accountability and support an objective and high-quality peer review process.

Beleid emphasises that full responsibility for the originality of ideas, legal arguments, data interpretation, and conclusions remains solely with the authors. The use of GenAI must not replace human intellectual contributions in terms of normative analysis, legal arguments, or the development of Islamic family law thinking.

Beleid : Journal of Administrative Law and Public Policy will continue to monitor the dynamics and developments of GenAI technology and update this policy to ensure the quality and integrity of academic publications in the field of Administrative Law.
